BARC EkoMeter is a free mobile app that is used to collect data and serve the purpose of understanding the consumer behavior in the digital space in India. This research is guided by the recommendations of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). It is a part of a research project that is being done to develop a reliable audience measurement system for India. The data that is collected is used for the purpose of understanding the consumer behavior in the digital space.
BARC EkoMeter app is used by the people who are part of the audience that is being studied. They are asked to download the app and provide their consent to be part of the study. The data that is collected is sent back to the BARC India. The purpose of the data is to be used for research and development. The data is not used for any other purpose.
